Abstract Este trabalho relata os procedimentos metodológicos e os resultados alcançados com a fusão digital dos canais multiespectrais e pancromático do sensor HRV-SPOT. O método implementado para integração de imagens de diferentes resoluções e obtido através de um algoritmo baseado num modelo linear para o imageador. Os parâmetros desse modelo são extraídos a partir de curvas de responsividade espectral do sensor e de relações provenientes da estrutura espacial da cena. Esse algoritmo e testado e comparado com os métodos IHS e de CLICHE, os quais são descritos. Os resultados obtidos são satisfatórios, sendo geradas imagens coloridas com resolução espacial de 10m. ABSTRACT: This work presents the methodological procedures and the results obtained through digital merging of multispectral and panchromatic image data collected by HRV-SPOT sensor. The techniques described provided improvements in spatial and spectral resolutions through an algorithm based on a linear model. The computation parameters have been based on data obtained from spectral responsivity curves and spatial relationship among pixels in each channel. Some other techniques are described. The HIS transformation and product- square root methods are performed. A new algorithm for combining SPOT satellite images with two different resolutions is presented. A software to perform these operations was developed.
