| Abstract | A precisão de classificação do mapeamento de distribuição de culturas, obtido através de imagens LANDSAT, deve ser demonstrado para alcançar uma aceitação mais ampla entre os usuários. Neste trabalho é apresentada uma abordagem estatística para se verificar a precisão de classificação do mapa de distribuição de culturas. É apresentado, também, um método para avaliar a precisão do mapeamento de cana-de-açúcar do Estado de São Paulo, obtido através de imagens LANDSAT. ABSTRACT: The precise classification of crop distribution mapping, obtained through LANDSAT images, must be demonstrated in order to reach a wider acceptance among users. In this work we present a statistical approach to verify the accuracy of classification of the map of crop distribution. A method was also presented to evaluate the accuracy of the mapping of sugarcane in the State of São Paulo, obtained through LANDSAT images. | ||||||
