                         Minas Gerais, O estudo constou de mapeamento geol{\'o}gico, 
                         compartimenta{\c{c}}{\~a}o geomorfol{\'o}gica, com base em 
                         t{\'e}cnicas quantitativas, identifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o de zonas 
                         mineralizadas e estudos geobot{\^a}nicos. Os resultados da 
                         pesquisa mostraram que as fotografias a{\'e}reas branco e pretas 
                         e as transpar{\^e}ncias coloridas infravermelho foram eficientes 
                         no mapeamento das tr{\^e}s unidades litol{\'o}gicas da 
                         Forma{\c{c}}{\~a}o Paraopeba e identifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o das 
                         zonas mineralizadas, respectivamente. As transparecias 
                         multicentrais I2s separaram com maior facilidade os dolomitos, que 
                         s{\~a}o as rochas condicionantes de mineraliza{\c{c}}{\~o}es de 
                         zinco e chumbo. As an{\'a}lises estatisticas dos dados 
                         morfom{\'e}tricos obtidos de fotografias a{\'e}reas branco e 
                         pretas e cartas topogr{\'a}ficas, discriminaram as tr{\^e}s 
                         unidades litologicas da Forma{\c{c}}ao Paraopeba, e permitiram a 
                         elabora{\c{c}}ao de uma compartimenta{\c{c}}{\~a}o 
                         geomorfol{\'o}gica da {\'a}rea em tres unidades distintas: 
                         Relevo de Carstico, Relevo de Cristas e Relevo de C{\^o}linas. Os 
                         estudos geobot{\^a}nicos constaram de analises quumicas de solos 
                         e plantas e analise anat{\'o}mica das plantas confirmaram que o 
                         nivel de toxidez na zona mineralizada, e um dos fatores que 
                         controla a distribui{\c{c}}{\~a}o da vegeta{\c{c}}ao. Abstracts

                         The test area was chosen in the municipality of Vazante in the 
                         state of Minas Gerais, the study consisted of geological mapping, 
                         geomorphological subdivision, based on quantitative techniques, 
                         identification of mineralized zones and geobot{\^a}nicos studies. 
                         The survey results showed that air white and black photographs and 
                         infrared color transparencies were efficient in mapping the three 
                         lithological units of Paraopeba Training and identification of 
                         mineralized zones, respectively. The multicentrais transparecias 
                         I2S separated more easily the dolomites, which are the conditions 
                         of rocks zinc and lead mineralization. Analyses Statistics of 
                         morphometric data obtained from aerial photographs and black and 
                         white topographic maps, discriminated the three lithologic units 
                         of Formation Paraopeba, and allowed the elaboration of a 
                         geomorphological subdivision of the area into three distinct 
                         units: karst relief, ridges and Relief Relief Hills. The 
                         geobot{\^a}nicos studies consisted of quumicas analysis of soils 
                         and plants and anatomical analysis of the plants confirmed that 
                         the level of toxicity in the mineralized zone, and one of the 
                         factors controlling the distribution of vegetation.",
